This starter kit provides authentication flows powered by Firebase. It may be used as a base for future applications. This policy explains what data the starter kit collects by default and how that data is used. If you build a real product on top of this starter kit, update this policy to match your actual behavior.

Information we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to authenticate users:

• Email address
• Display name (if provided by the auth provider)
• Authentication provider identifiers (Firebase, Google, Apple)

If analytics is enabled, we may also collect basic usage data such as device information, browser type, pages viewed, and interaction events.

How we use information

• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Display your name in the UI when available.
• Monitor reliability and improve the user experience.

We use your email and display name only for authentication and account access.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics to understand how people use the starter kit. Analytics data helps us improve performance and usability. You can disable analytics in your own deployment if you do not need it.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with service providers needed to operate authentication or analytics, such as Firebase and Google Analytics.

Data retention

Authentication data is stored as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove associated authentication data from Firebase within a reasonable timeframe.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Children's privacy

This starter kit is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, remove the data and update your product policies accordingly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the starter kit evolves. Review it periodically, and update it when you ship a real product based on this starter kit.
